Beginner Lessons

Bath Archers offers a complete beginners course in archery. The course will introduce you to the sport and teach you about the equipment and how to shoot safely. All tuition, coaching and equipment is included. After completing the course students are able to join the club fully and continue shooting if they choose.

Courses are mixed for adults and juniors which enables families to learn together. Our minimum age limit for juniors is 8 years old (up to 18), and each junior must be accompanied by a parent / guardian who must remain in attendance at all times. Maybe the parent / guardian might enjoy taking part too rather than just watching!

All courses are delivered by our Archery GB qualified coaching team and take place at our own peaceful grounds beside the river Avon.

If you're unsure whether a beginners course is for you, we can recommend a Taster Session to introduction you to the sport first. Details can be found on our courses web page.
